An Eye-deal Opening Day in Greenfield

What a spectacle – By James Brooks

Our new practice in Greenfield, Saddleworth is now open

Saturday 12th January saw the grand opening of our second practice over in Saddleworth. The people of Greenfield gathered around the newly developed Greenfield Centre to help us celebrate the start of our Saddleworth adventure! Local brass band, Diggle B performed some background music. Prosecco was being poured and nibbles handed out by the lovely girls from top Saddleworth caterers Manns Wharf. Photographer, Darren Robinson was on hand to capture the day and our friends Helen and Philip Beckwith from Champion Brass gave a fantastic speech before cutting the ribbon and opening the doors to your new trusted opticians.

Music and more

Fun was had by all with a raffle, ‘guess how many contact lenses in the bottle’ competition and even the selfie frame made an appearance…with props!! It really was a day to remember with a fantastic local feel community feel to it. Our neighbours at Scona and House of Hair and Beauty really did their bit to make us feel welcome as did the residents of this amazing village. You can read more about the grand opening very soon as our friends from ‘Around Saddleworth’ and the ‘Saddleworth Independent’ came to show their support. So keep an eye out!!

Thank you

We would like to send out a very big thank you again to all those mentioned. But most of all we would like to thank the people of Saddleworth for welcoming us into your wonderful community. Here’s to the future!
